Edit: They couldn’t even bother closing the cats eyes. My mother is in tears over seeing that even more

I would stay clear of Best Vet they have a lot of poor reviews for a reason.

This place is the worst. We took our cat here multiple times and the vet said that nothing was wrong, a week later were here to put our cat down and now the vet tells us it might be a tumor. His staff is very rude as well. While I was waiting in the lobby they were making jokes about “putting one of the staff members down” right while our cat is being put down. How insensitive. We won’t be coming back, we’re afraid the doctor will over look another one of our cats and they will end up the same way.

Last review was deleted. Bad service was given here and I will make sure to tell people who love their animals as well as do not have money to throw out for no reason, not to go here. My puppy was given shots I did not ask for, and they did not perform the 'free physical'. The doctor walked in and out. Did not even tell me what to expect from the de worming medication I was originally there for. Charged me for shots I didnt ask for. As well as when I called back to ask them to actually perform the physical and to talk to a manager regarding I was told to just come in to speak with someone. I spent double the money that day and will NEVER go back.

For the growth on his Dewclaw Dr. Armstrong is suggesting amputation of the “toe”. Now that’s what I thought from the original visit. I hope these two growths are not related, I have an appointment with a different vet today.

Dr. Armstrong is the best. He cares a lot for pets and their owners. He's very fair. I always get a straight answer from him. He doesn't just try to upsell stuff you don't need. No office visit charge if you're just getting a rabies shot! No other vet in the area does that! He is very caring, takes time with me and my pets, has helped me when I've found strays, and is available for emergencies. He's got a great way with animals. I can't say that for other vets in the area. I'm glad we found Best Vet.

We had multiple issues but this was it. Probably coasted is our cat.

A month and a half later the growth has gotten larger and what I believe is a cyst has developed on the back of my dog’s neck. I took him in and Dr. Armstrong is vague as he diagnoses the abscess and squeezes it. Gross of course, but what are you going to do. He shaved the area and gave him a shot of antibiotics. The suggestion is surgery to remove the mass. He did not give me any instruction on how to take care of the open/erupted cyst, I have a 19 month old baby at home who plays with the dog all the time. Upon researching the treatment of a cyst, the first thing numerous websites say is do not squeeze it, as you can rupture it inside and cause cellulitis. Just keep it clean and it should heal on it’s own.

I brought my dog in for a growth/bubble on it’s Dewclaw, I completely had in mind a small surgery is needed to remove the Dewclaw. Dr. Armstrong says it’s an overgrown nail that is infected. Trims the nail and gives a prescription of antibiotics. I was certain there was more to this than a swollen in grown nail.

Never had a problem always helpful and kind!

I waited until a second visit before reviewing Best Vet. First off call them and ask how much a visit is, they’ll tell you free and you just pay for services. Now I don’t expect something for nothing, but don’t mislead people.
