The movers destroyed my nearly brand new television and they have offered a tiny fraction of the replacement costs as compensation. Based on what I have seen from other reviews which made similar complaints on Facebook, I expect someone will respond to this post and suggest that I call a customer service number and they will take care of my problem. I have already been down that route with no satisfaction and I think a class action or investigation by the Attorney General for their fraudulent practices in only posting positive reviews and then cheating customers when they destroy valuable items during the move is the only thing that will change their business practices. If they come through and make a fair settlement for the property damage they did, I will come back and report that, but for now all I can do is to warn others to stay far away from this company.
I had an excellent experience from my initial phone conversation to delivery..They exceeded my expectations! Their crew was professional nd did an amazing job ensuring the quality of my furniture along with a speedy delivery time...I highly recommend them !
Please do not be deceived like I was by only reading the reviews that they place on their website which cherry pick only the positive reviews that appear here and ignore the many negative reviews which detail horrible experiences like the one I had..
Eric and Shawn (or Sean can't remember which way it was spelled), were fantastic. They were really fast. Also very polite and made the move very doable. Granted I had a few things, they still busted their chops to get it done. Great job!
My confirmation call the day prior to the move said movers would be there between 7:30 and 8:00 am. I was working until 7:30, so it would’ve been fine except they called at 7:13 and said they were there and my clock was starting. After getting charged for the time they were sitting in the truck, they also moved at a snails pace taking several breaks to check cell phones for about five minutes at a time, and lost the dolly twice. I knew my move would require two people so I hired two, but one did not move anything and was on the company tablet most of the time so my move took twice as long. My wood furniture was blanketed and wrapped when they got there, but somehow I was still charged for $64 in packing materials. Which the movers said I would need to “call the office” about. To move my sofa, the one guy that was doing the moving decided to turn my sofa vertical and push it so the corners are torn to pieces. My freshly painted walls all have marks and scratches. In all my $300 quoted price ended up being almost $800, not including the cost of repairing damaged furniture, repairing walls, and replacing broken glasses.
WOW is all I can say.......Phil came out to my house few months ago and gave me a price for my move that just occurred. We had issues with closing, Phil and his office staff did everything possible to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. They were quick to offer suggestions to save me money and to make a bad situation stress-free. I couldn't ask for more from a company. My realtor referred them to me and I couldn't be more thankful. Thank you Phil and team!
