If I could leave zero stars I would. Disappointed is an understatement. I have never in my life delt with people who have no clue what they are doing, no clue what custom service is. Reserved a moving truck with my credit card info, in which they did not have. Not once did they offer to help me find another truck at a different location. Just told me to call and figure it out. The lady at the front desk had a nasty attitude. I had to call the customer service line to file a complaint. I will be calling BBB as well and filing another complaint. I will never return to this place again and will not longer be using budget.
Terrible. don't not waste your time on this place we made reservations since October to pick up the car before thanksgiving. We got to the place to go pick up the car and they told us that they called us to confirm that we were coming and that we didn't pick up, but what the actually did was rented the car for more money and changed our number to make an excuse for what the did. They know what they did, because the Manager act liked he was on the phone and slowly left. They are all FRAUDS !
Now, in October 2017, I reserved a car well ahead of time before my trip. Once we got to the counter, everything seemed to be going smooth. Then I saw the car, a Kia Soul. If I were by myself The it would’ve worked no problem. But I wasn’t. Again, there was nothing available to exchange. So I just went with it. Once I finished my paperwork and actually got to the car, I noticed the car was filthy, it had not been cleaned at all. There was also someone’s clothing left in the car. They literally had not cleaned the car. At all. Then upon return, they realized that the person who left the clothes also left his sunpass in the car during my trip. I was just completely shocked at the lack of organization and customer service put forth.
The first encounter was in March 2017. I reserved a car, rushed after work in my Lyft to try and make it. Once the woman at the counter finished up the customer in front of me, she gave much attitude once she realized I was there to pick up. Then, upon realizing there weren’t any cars in the class I had reserved she simply told me I just couldn’t get a car. Now I do know the discretion is there to upgrade to the class up if there is an unavailability. But her mentioning that she had to go pick up her child let me know that was not her concern. So not only had I had to pay for a Lyft to get there, but I had to pay for one to get home all because she didn’t want to help me.
Never ever book a car with this location. The customer service is horrible as with many of the other reviews there was no car available when I arrived. Company representative did not provide me any assistance in locating another vehicle. I can understand that it may be an independent agency however customer service is how you get repeat business and how you get customers to come back. Why would you sit and do nothing at your job and not assist customers in need. The more rentals they send to other locations the higher chance they will get referred rentals form other surrounding agencies when they are over booked. I rent cars approximately 50 times a year and will never go back there.
I am so disappointed with this company, we reserved a truck two days ago and showed up not expecting any issues only to be told they had no trucks and we needed to call to let them know, never did they apologize for making us wait to just simply say our RESERVED truck wasn’t there. We called the company, to be told a store manager would contact us between 15-30 mins. No one called and we ended up having to call again. This is my second time experiencing this problem with them. I will never use them again!
