Went tonight to get a few things, and was helped by Anthony. He went ABOVE and beyond what most associates do.
Came in to buy a couple fish. Have worked in fish stores and have MULTIPLE salt and fresh water aquariums. Employee didn't like my setup and refused to sell a .5 inch fish that would have had a tank to itself and when I told him I have multiple aquariums he decided to say "I was being condescending to him and refused to sell anything" and walked away. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Petco just lost ALL of our business!!!!!!
Randy and Noah's knowledge and professionalism were the best experience I have ever had, I wish we would have bought the bird from this store to begin with and will definitely be back because of Randy and Noah
Next day: I spoke to the manager, went in and RIGHTLY received my store credit.I will use it elsewhere.
They were patient and spoke to us from a place of authority without being demeaning. We ended up buying more toys and setting a better schedule for the bird which had an immediate impact on how well the bird is behaving.
My wife and I went to the store to get a companion bird for the one we currently have. Randy and Noah cam over to help us, they were both fantastic.
They walked us through the psychology of bird owning and how to tame the bird. They encouraged us to spend more time with the bird and get him more toys instead of a companion.
I went in to return UNOPENED items that I purchased and Kelley at the register was so rude! I didn't have my receipt but would have gladly accepted a store credit. We have many types of pets and have always shopped there. After she took my info..she went missing for 15 min came back and began the interrogation. She claimed she checked and didn't see any transaction. I told her it could be under another phone number maybe but sometimes if they don't ask for my Pals Rewards # I forget to mention it. She said WE ALWAYS ASK! I know for a fact..they do not! She spoke over me several times..I said excuse me may I finish..she just kept on and with a nasty stare to top it off! My 2 children and I were shocked and it looked really bad for the store...trust me! She then in a nasty way said WHAT CREDIT CARD DID YOU USE??? I have several and didn't remember.That was the last straw! I took my purchase and left with her still screaming something and my daughter telling her to drop her attitude! Never again will I step in that store!! I intend to report her as well. I have been in the job force my whole working career and never treated a family/customer like that! We did nothing wrong and those items could only be purchased there...other pet stores do not carry them..which I told her.
Will definitely be going back and I hope he sees this as it shows his kindness and help did not go unnoticed !
We go here for EVERYTHING! I love their healthy and organic options for dogs. We always gave my last dog generic food and treats and she suffered a lot of stomach issues from it. With our new puppy, we're buying all American-Made quality food and treats all from the help from the Petco team. Taz trained our puppy and Jen grooms him. We've gotten to know the staff and they're all friendly. I would recommend them over Petsmart across the street any day!
