Very rude customer service. .
I bought an occupied property in June 2015. People were renting this property since Nov. 2013. Once renters moved out and I went to the city of Boynton beach water utility office to transfer the water service in my name, gets surprised, they were asking me $2650.00 past due balance to turned the water on. They provided me the Bill which shows a monthly charges of $40/mnth not been paid from 2009 to 2013 (almost 5-years, no one was living there). Home owners association foreclosed this property in Oct. 2013 and rented out this property till Feb. 2015 and there was no issues of water bill or disconnection notice of unpaid previous balance during that period of time (Sept. 2013 to Aug. 2015) and city of Boynton beach water department never asked the previous balance from new owner(HOA) which was generated from 2009 to Sept. 2013 and never turned off water for them. Till now (Jan. 27th 2016) since June 2015 I have no water (last 7 months). Even though I paid $100 deposit and fill out utility application. . What do you think ? what can you say? If someone knows where should I go for justice please let me know because I tiered of everything finding attorneys to settle this matter with the city of Boynton beach water Utility.
Building department is the laziest I have ever encountered!! Please Mayor do something to expedite service better.
The ghetto. Terrible service
I received a red light ticket in the mail after it was due, I called the city and told them I would pay for the ticket but asked if there was anyway I could have a late fee waived since the first time receiving any notification was incredibly delayed. The woman told me I could take it to court. I laughed at her bc we all know how that would go. Totally unfair and such a scam.
Disrespectful unprofessional.
